What is PRP?

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) is a process that restores community functioning and overall well-being to individuals diagnosed with a Mental Health Disorder, or those diagnosed with an Intellectual or Developmental Disability through one-on-one counseling1. PRPs provide individualized psychiatric rehabilitation services for chronically mentally ill adults2. PRPs often include day and residential rehabilitation programs, as well as a wide range of support and educational programs designed to promote independent living skills


What is IOP?

IOP services, or intensive outpatient programs, are treatment programs that address addictions, depression, eating disorders, or other dependencies123. They are structured psychological treatment programs that take place on an outpatient basis3. IOPs provide people with the freedom to live at home and still attend work or school while receiving addiction services1. They enable patients to continue with their normal, day-to-day lives in a way that residential treatment programs do not
